God promised us eternal life, but He did not promise that it would come with an easy life. He promised to be with us through our circumstances, but He did not promise that there would be no bad circumstances. This world is wicked, but we have to persevere through it. He knew that it would get difficult, but He promised us victory. With God, we can always look for a positive final outcome.
