Isaiah 40:31. They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. Waiting is where strength is given, not lost.
Psalms 27:14. Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and He shall strengthen thine heart.
Biblical waiting is not passive delay but active trust. The strength promised is not for rushing ahead but for those who wait on the Lord.
Father, I am waiting and tired of it. Teach me to wait on You, and strengthen my heart while I do.
Am I waiting on God, or merely waiting for God to do what I have already decided He must?
