Proverbs 3:5-6. Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths.
Psalms 37:5. Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.
Solomon shows trust as wholehearted reliance that refuses self-wisdom; David pictures entrusting the whole path to God. Trust hands the outcome to God and keeps the next step.
Father, I commit my way to You and trust You with it. Help me to lean on Your understanding and not my own, one step at a time.
What outcome am I still gripping that I have not fully committed to the Lord?
Name one outcome you are holding too tightly. Pray it over to God once and for all, then do only what is yours to do.
