Success

Deuteronomy 8:18. Thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is He that giveth thee power to get wealth. Success is received, not achieved alone. Proverbs 27:2. Let another man praise thee, and not thine own mouth. Pride is quieted when gratitude speaks instead of self-promotion. Moses warns the prosperous Israelite not to forget the Source of every good gift. Success tempts the heart to self-glory; Scripture redirects it to gratitude. Father, every good gift came from You. Keep me humble in success, grateful in blessing, and faithful with what You have placed in my hands. Whom have I quietly credited for what only God could give, and whom have I forgotten to thank? This week, thank three people God used in your success, and give God the first part of your increase.
