Purpose

Ephesians 2:10. We are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. Purpose is given before it is discovered. Colossians 3:23. Whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men. Even ordinary work is made meaningful by its Audience. Paul grounds identity in being God's handiwork, made for prepared works. Purpose is not self-manufactured but received and walked out, even in ordinary tasks done unto the Lord. Father, thank You that I am Your workmanship. Show me the good works You have prepared for me, and help me to do all things unto You. Am I searching for a grand purpose while neglecting the meaning already here in the ordinary done for Christ? Take one ordinary responsibility this week and do it heartily, as to the Lord. Watch for the prepared work already within your reach.
