New season

Ecclesiastes 3:1. To every thing there is a season. Change is not a threat to God's plan; it is often its very shape. Isaiah 43:19. Behold, I will do a new thing; I will even make a way in the wilderness. Solomon names the rhythm of seasons under God's sovereignty; Isaiah promises a new thing that God Himself brings. Newness can be holy ground, not just upheaval. Father, as one season closes and another opens, keep me trusting in You. Make this new stretch holy ground. What am I clinging to from the old season that I have not yet surrendered to the God of the next? Name one thing this new season invites you to release, and one it invites you to begin. Take the first small step in the begin.
