Hebrews 13:5. He has said, I will never leave thee nor forsake thee. A promise with no expiration.
The psalmist names the most intimate human rejections and meets them with God's gathering love. Scripture does not deny loneliness; it answers it with the God who draws near.
Father, when I feel forsaken, remind me that You gather me. Let Your presence be enough where human company is not.
Where am I searching for presence in created things before I have sought the Presence that never leaves?
