Psalms 34:18. The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.
Matthew 5:4. Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. Mourning is inside God's blessing, not outside it.
David testifies that God draws near to the shattered heart. Jesus pronounces blessing on those who mourn, promising comfort in God's own time and way.
Father, You are near to the brokenhearted. Be near to me now. Comfort me where no one else can reach.
Have I let my grief be grief, or am I hurrying it on someone else's timeline?
