Proverbs 24:16. A just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again. Righteousness is shown in rising, not in never falling.
1 John 2:1. If any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.
Proverbs dignifies the one who falls and rises again. John assures us that at our lowest we have an Advocate, not an accuser.
Father, I have fallen and it is hard to rise. Thank You that You are my Advocate, not my accuser. Help me up again.
