Galatians 6:2. Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ. Bearing another's burden is the law of Christ fulfilled.
1 Peter 5:7. Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. The God who cares carries the caregiver's cares.
Paul calls burden-bearing the fulfilling of the law of Christ. Peter then turns the caregiver toward the God who carries the caregiver's own cares. In bearing another, we are ourselves borne by Him.
Father, as I bear this burden, bear me. Cause me to cast my own cares upon You, that I may find in Your care the strength to keep caring.
Whose burden am I bearing today, and have I let God bear mine?
