Proverbs 16:3. Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established. Commitment brings established thoughts.
Colossians 3:23. Whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men. The Audience defines the work.
Solomon promises that committing our works to the Lord establishes our thoughts. Paul reframes all work as unto the Lord. A career, whether rising, shifting, or uncertain, is first an offering.
Father, I commit my work to You. Establish my thoughts, and let me do whatever I do heartily, as unto You.
Am I seeking security and status in my career, or offering my work to the Lord who establishes it?
Commit your career to God in prayer this week, then take one wise next step, and trust Him to establish it.
